Equipment Overview:

Surface Rockwell hardness tester is a type of Rockwell hardness tester that uses smaller test forces to test fine, small, and thin specimens that cannot be tested by ordinary Rockwell hardness testers, workpieces with surface hardening layers, and workpieces that require minimal indentation.

Applicable scope:

Use a smaller experimental force to test the hardness of the shallow surface of the metal· The indentation is very small and has no impact on the use of most workpieces, which can be considered as non-destructive testing· Used for testing thin and small parts, such as thin plates, tubes, shafts, balls, small stamped parts, and work with very small support surfaces· Used to test workpieces that require minimal indentation· Traceable standard hardness blocks· An indenter that has passed the inspection by a standard Rockwell hardness tester· The force measuring instrument used for verifying the test force can be traced back to the national secondary standard.
